Two children are democratically elected by their classmates in September to represent them over each academic year. This year, our newly elected school ‘Prime Minister’ will also join the school council team.
Our School Councillors have a very important role in school which includes; attending monthly meetings where they share the views of their classmates, organising special events – Our yearly West Green’s got Talent Show being one of them and helping to make decisions about the school environment. They were instrumental in designing and planning our new playground adventure trail.
We’re really looking forward to seeing what our school councillors do to help to continue to make West Green the wonderful school that it is!
